A little effort can go a long way with EBZEF. Many options exist to help. Working with EBZEF is an uplifting experience which helps Zambian women achieve an education. We want you to give a full return on your investment in love.
Volunteer ideas
- Write a letter/draw a picture for Beth’s Girls
- Visit our website and link it to your Facebook/Myspace
- Watch our You-Tube video (linked from our website, bethsgirls.org) and send it to five friends, ask them to send it on.
- Help to tell Beth’s Story and the story of Beth’s Girls
- Help host special events (Africa Week, Zambia Night, World Beat Festival, etc)
- Design and create a fund-raising project for EBZEF
- Recruit interested friends to work for EBZEF
- Index and document letters from Beth’s Girls
- Create and edit copy for the website
- Help maintain Youtube/Facebook sites
- Join an EBZEF committee (Education, Library, Fund-raising, Publicity, Technology)
- Help create and update photo essays and albums
- Record and document receipts from program services in Zambia
- Help research titles and locate sources of Zambian authors for the Elizabeth Bowers Memorial Library in Lumwana West in NW Zambia
- Help edit, print, and bind original works from Zambian village writers for the memorial library
- Offer your special interests, skills, and talents, and we’ll find a use for them Donate
